Walk with You

Well, I apologize for taking so long to get this song up here...I have been busier than I anticipated to be.

 :)

"Walk with You" is a song I wrote after attending a friend's wedding. The friends of the bride and groom are incredible people, and I was inspired to consider how I am living my life. I realize my life won't last forever. So what I do with my time is important, and I really don't want to waste any time while I am living. I revisited how thankful I am for having a relationship with God and that serving and walking with Him is the best use of my time. Not to mention, when Jesus Christ returns, every knee is going to bow and I would rather just bow voluntarily now because I know in my heart already: God is worthy of such awe. So, as long as I live, I will walk with God...

Walk with You
I will walk with You when I am young
Before I'm jaded by worldly "love"
I won't waste time on songs been sung
And I will walk with You when I am young

I will walk with You when I am grey
While we're still young people say
We won't make it to that day
But I will walk with You when I am grey
I will walk with You when I turn grey

I will walk with You when I turn white
When I'm grey people might
Say "faithfulness is such a sight"
Well, I will walk with You when I turn white
Yes, I will walk with You when I am white

I will give You all my breaths
'Till there's no more, 'till there's none left
The gift of life is Yours to give
'Till my body rests and with You I'll sit
'Till I can walk no more, with You I'll sit

Thanks for listening
